The Thunder just need 28-year old center Kendrick Perkins to play D and rebound for the most part, but they also would benefit from him making around half of the shots he does get as they all come from close range. Perkins has played in 17 games (all starts) since March 1st and he is averaging 25.5 minutes, 3.6 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game. But, he is only shooting 39.7% from the floor and 43.8% from the free throw line since March 1st and that’s just not going to get the job done. Perkins has now played in 73 games (all starts) overall this year for the Thunder and he is averaging 25.1 minutes, 4.3 points, 6.1 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.1 blocked shots per game. The Thunder need Perkins to get his act back together before the playoffs start in a couple of weeks.
